Fall Winter 26 - From Danielle's Notebook

I've come to believe that the most beautiful objects don't reveal themselves all at once.

Discovery doesn't end when the day does.

I've always been fascinated by how materials change as the light changes. In the evening, leather reveals a richness that wasn't there an hour before. A seam catches the light differently. The precision of a construction becomes more apparent. Even familiar objects seem to have another story to tell.

That quiet transformation stayed with me throughout the design process.

As I designed this collection, I found myself thinking about permanence; not only in the objects we make, but in the traditions that shape them. I was drawn again to craftsmanship that has been refined over generations, to hands that understand materials through practice rather than theory, and to the beauty that comes from making something with patience and intention.

I've always been drawn to traditions where craftsmanship is shaped by necessity, where every stitch, edge, and detail exists for a reason. That appreciation led me back to the enduring language of the American West, where beauty has always been inseparable from function. Rich leathers, hand-finished edges, leather tassels, and enduring textures all carry that same sense of purpose. Even the leopard texture this season felt less like a statement and more like another timeless material that belonged naturally alongside them.

The palette followed that same instinct. Cognac, black, navy, and leopard came together almost effortlessly—colors chosen not for a single season, but for the way they deepen and evolve with age.

When I look at the collection as a whole, I don't think about individual bags first. I think about the feeling they create together. Pieces designed to reveal themselves slowly. To become more beautiful through use. To carry the quiet confidence of craftsmanship passed from one generation to the next.

It is in that space—between landscape and memory, daylight and darkness, permanence and change—that I believe this collection found its voice.

My hope is that these pieces become companions to your own story; objects you'll return to again and again, discovering something new each time you carry them.
